Personalised Nutrition for Fertility, Pregnancy & Beyond

With specialist DNA testing

Hello and welcome, I’m Chloe Young

A Certified BANT Registered Nutritional Therapist with over 20 Years Experience in Women’s Health.

I’m passionate about helping you optimise health, fertility and longevity through personalised nutrition - using wholesome foods, delicious recipes and simple lifestyle changes that truly make a difference.

Every woman is different - and so is her DNA.

My practice is grounded in science and personalised nutrition. Through advanced DNA testing and analysis, I design bespoke nutrition plans that help couples conceive, enjoy healthy pregnancies and thrive in every stage of motherhood.

I specialise in helping women who are…

Preparing their body for pregnancy or fertility treatment and want to optimise their chance of conception

At risk of pregnancy complications and wanting preventative support

Experiencing complications in pregnancy, such as gestational diabetes, pre-eclampsia or hyperemesis and want to improve symptoms

Recovering postpartum and wanting to restore energy, mood and hormone balance

Managing chronic conditions such as PCOS, endometriosis and auto-immune conditions

My Story:

Before becoming a nutritional therapist, I spent 18 years as a midwife and lactation consultant, supporting women through pregnancy and birth. Over time, I saw how medicalised the system had become - women were told what to do, but not how to care for themselves in meaningful, nourishing ways.

Meanwhile, I was facing my own health struggles. After years of living with endometriosis, I was constantly trying to figure out which foods and supplements might ease my symptoms - but it always felt like guesswork. Eventually, I had my DNA tested, and it was a lightbulb moment. I finally understood how my genes were influencing my health, hormones and energy.

That experience transformed how I viewed nutrition and health. It inspired me to retrain as a nutritional therapist, combining everything I’d learned in healthcare with the science of DNA analysis to create truly personalised plans.

Today, I help women take control of their wellbeing - improving fertility, supporting healthy pregnancies and recovering confidently after birth and into motherhood.

Why test DNA?

Every woman’s DNA is unique and understanding it helps create a nutrition plan designed exactly for your body.

We all carry genetic variants that influence how we process nutrients, hormones and vitamins - and how our bodies respond to food, stress and the environment. What works for one woman may not work for another, which is why a one-size-fits-all approach to nutrition often fails.

DNA testing helps identify predispositions for nutritional deficiencies, hormonal imbalances and inflammatory responses that can affect fertility, pregnancy and overall wellbeing.

But your genes are only part of the story. To understand how your body is working right now, I also use functional testing - such as blood or gut-health checks that give a real-time picture of what your body needs.

Why the first 1,000 days matter

The first 1,000 days - from before conception through to your child’s second birthday - is a crucial window where nutrition and environment shape lifelong health.

During this time, the nutrients you eat, your stress levels and even your gut health can influence how your baby’s genes are expressed - a process known as epigenetics.

In simple terms, pregnancy isn’t just about those nine months, it’s the foundation for your child’s future wellbeing.
